It’s official- 13 Reasons Why has been renewed for a second season on Netflix!
...and the cast celebrated by presenting at the MTV Movie and TV awards!
Hannah Baker’s story is FAR from over. Selena Gomez announced her Netflix series 13 Reasons Why has officially been picked up for a second season by posting a teaser on her Instagram.
Selena captioned the haunting clip writing, “Their story isn't over. Season 2 of #13ReasonsWhy is coming.” We can’t we’re surprised by the renewal as the show has been one of Netflix’s most successful AND controversial ever. According to Deadline, the season will pick up in the aftermath of Hannah Baker’s death and start the lives of the characters’ complicated journeys towards healing and recovery.
Until then, we’ve got the cast’s appearance at this year’s MTV Movie and TV awards to OBSESS over. The entire 13 Reasons Why gang came out on stage to present MTV’s new award: Show of the Year. And DANG do they clean up nice. Watch as the cast present the Stranger Things cast with the Show of the Year award.
