13 Reasons Why Begins Filming Season 2 & Cast Shares FIRST Looks

Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why is officially happening, and Hannah Baker and gang are back and ready to take on the second installment.
Netflix officially renewed its hit series about Hannah Baker about a month ago, but filming is already underway. Stars of the show have taken to their social media accounts to share the news, including Katherine Langford--aka Hannah herself. Although she’ll no longer be the narrator of the show, Hannah will definitely be back in some capacity for the second season.
Katherine took to Instagram to post a picture of Hannah’s famous black boots, along with the caption, "Season 2. Back in her shoes."
Katherine’s costar Christian Navarro, who plays Tony on the show, also tweeted about his return to the production, writing QUOTE, "Day One. S2. Ready to make some magic." He followed that tweet up with a shout out to fans that said QUOTE, "Thank you to everyone who wished us luck today. Day one was great. We are gonna do our best to make something you can be proud of."
While the first season was based on the book by author Jay Asher, season 2 could really go anywhere. However showrunner Brian Yorkey has previously dropped some hints as to what fans can expect in the next season, explaining QUOTE, "I think season two will give us a look at a lot of things—a lot of the events that we think we know, we may learn are more complicated than we thought, and Hannah is even more complicated than we saw season one...I also think that for those that Hannah left behind, that story is just beginning...Season two is also about healing and how we go on, because people always say you have to go on but how do we after something like that?"
Hopefully we’ll get more and more details and pics from the cast as shooting continues, and if not we’ll just have to wait until season 2 drops in 2018. Until then, we’ll be social media stalking all of them.
