Maze Runner has officially resumed filming and we’ve got your first look at the cast back together again
After months of waiting, our patience is finally paying off!
So feel free to exhale because production for The Death Cure is officially underway. The final film in the Maze Runner franchise took a major hiatus after star Dylan O’Brien was badly injured while filming last year. His injuries turned out to be way worse than most of us realized so it’s incredible that he’s made a full recovery and is OK to get back to work. In fact, Dylan looks really great, which is not surprising at all, in the first pic of the gang reunited.
The picture surfaced on Instagram this week when author of The Maze Runner, James Dashner, posted a shot of the cast hanging out at a restaurant. Many rejoiced to see the group back together, knowing this means we are not too far away from the final Maze Runner film. And while some of us jumped for joy, his caption also caused a whole lot of sadness.
James wrote “"Please, Tommy, please.... pass the salt. Good to see these guys back together!!! #DeathCure." If you’ve read The Death Cure, you’ll know why that caption is very hard to read, and if you didn’t, well let’s just say that you’re in for an emotional rollercoaster when The Death Cure hits theatres next January.
Until then, I want to know what you guys think of the cast getting back to work?
