DC Titans Gets Early RENEWAL For Season 2 BEFORE Season 1 Premieres

Titans started get a ton of buzz over the summer at San Diego Comic Con due to it’s edgier take on the popular Teen Titans super hero team and the fact that it will be the first of many live-action TV shows set to launch on DC’s new streaming service. Season 1 will kick off on October 12th but like I already said, season 2 is already a go and we go that news just this week at New York Comic Con. A new trailer was also released at NYCC. Here’s a quick peek:
The show stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Minka Kelly and Alan Ritchson in season 1 and will take on the Titans journey as they discover themselves and each other. We’ll see Dick Grayson, who is played by Brenton Thwaites, emerge as the leader of the young heroes, which will include Starfire, Raven Beast Boy and more. As we reported a few months ago – the original trailer received a ton of interest because of it’s language (IE using the usually off limits in TV “F word)”, but hey that’s a perk of being on a streaming service, especially when it’s a DC streaming service.
Personally, I’m not remotely surprised to hear this show is getting a season 1 pick up because there’s such a huge built-in fanbase and the cast is so strong. But what about you guys?
