Fox confirms Screams Queens season 2 and it’s coming to a hospital near you.
Well, near your TV screen. We’ve just learned the murder mystery is moving from sorority house to hospital ward.
It was announced at the Televisions Critics Association today that that Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens is officially renewed. The comedy-slash-horror one-liners and bizarre storylines will take place where the most fascinating and unusual medical cases are under observation. We don’t know much at this time, but we do know that some of season one’s survivors will play characters in season two. And if season 2’s casting is anything like season 1’s star power then we can’t wait. How do you top Jamie Lee Curtis, Ariana Grande, Nicki Jonas, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele and more? If you recall, Lea Michele’s character Hester was revealed to be the killer in season 1, so there’s a good chance she’ll be back. Lea has speculated QUOTE, “I do know what Ryan’s plan is and it’s really fun,” she said. “It’s an homage to another classic horror film. This year was ‘Heathers.’ Next season would be a take on another classic girl film. I’ve had a great time playing Hester, and hopefully she’ll be back to play next year.” Yes, pretty please! So what classic girl film took place in a hospital? I’ll have to wrack my brain on that one. In other news, Fox’s breakout hit, Empire is also slated to return for a season 3, not that anyone is surprised given their insane TV ratings. And Taraji P Henson’s recent Golden Globe win for Best Actress in a TV Drama doesn’t hurt either. So what do you think about this storyline turn for Scream Queens? Let us know your feels in the comments! Then be sure to check out 11 Things That Were Cool 10 Years Ago! Lol. Juicy tracksuits galore.
