Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan has urged members not to be swayed by criticisms including by those who harbour resentment against the party.
Speaking to reporters at the Umno AGM's media centre, he said Umno upholds freedom of speech, so people - including former leaders or members - are free to criticise the party.
Umno is an old party, so I hope members can make their judgements. Sometimes there are statements or remarks made that are a form of psywar, he said.
