Health Minister Dr Adham Baba has once again found himself to be the punchline of jokes on social media, this time by referring to the Spanish flu which caused millions of deaths in 1918 to 1920, as the "Spanish fly".

According to the WHO, the Spanish flu in 1918 was the most severe influenza which caused an estimated 20-40 million or more deaths worldwide.

After repeating Spanish fly a couple of times, the medical doctor turned politician somewhat came to his senses.
