Tyga found himself in some legal trouble with an underage girl after she accused him of sending her inappropriate messages, but her claims may fall flat after the rapper responded with some textual evidence.
So much drama is happening in Tyga and Kylie’s lives, but are you really surprised? After 14-year-old Molly O’Malia opened up about her uncomfortable exchange with Tyga, the rapper is firing back by saying their conversations with each other were strictly professional.
Okay, before we get into this messy story, let’s start from the very beginning. In OK! magazine’s December 28th issue, the publication reported that Tyga was interested in hooking up with the under aged girl and used a pixelated picture of the teen on their cover. Unfortunately, their attempt at keeping Molly unknown was useless because according to the young girl at a press conference held on Monday by her attorney Gloria Allred, people were still able to figure out it was her. In the same press conference, Molly explained their conversation and said that Tyga contacted her first through Instagram.
She said QUOTE, ‘I thought that it could possibly be about my music, but he did not mention that in his initial communication with me. I thought that was strange, but I was thinking he would bring that up in his next message to me. However, he didn’t mention it in the next message.’ TMZ captured the rest of the press conference which shows Molly going on to explain that after their initial exchange, she started to feel uncomfortable with their conversation.
It is currently unclear if Molly and her family will file a lawsuit against OK! While most of the 14-year-old’s anger was directed towards the magazine, she still talked about her “uncomfortable” exchange with Tyga. However, the rapper’s manager Anthony Martini told TMZ that their conversation was completely business related because Tyga was interested in signing the 14-year-old model to his record label.
In a series of text message screenshots obtained by TMZ, it shows that Molly lied about her age and told the rapper that she was 17 instead of 14. It also revealed that Tyga didn’t initially know about her music career like Molly had mentioned in the press conference, but in Tyga’s defense, he does ask for the music and his rep told TMZ that Tyga only wanted to FaceTime Molly to talk business and to see her sing with his fellow producers. Overall, the two had a pretty tame conversation.
While it doesn’t seem like anything bad happened in their text conversation, Kylie Jenner is still upset by it all. This conversation that Tyga and Molly had supposedly caused Kylie and Tyga to briefly break up late last year and even though everything seems fine in Kyga’s world, the reality star just had to get in the last word regarding this drama. In one of Kylie’s snaps on Monday, it looks like the reality starlet is making fun of the 14-year-old girl. Kylie posted a picture of herself in a blonde wig that matches Molly’s hair and captioned the short video with the words QUOTE, ‘They hate me.’ Yikes.
Well, what do you all think? Is Tyga telling the truth about their conversation or is there something more to the story that we all don’t really know yet? Sound off in the comment section below!
