We take you on a food tour of Hawke’s Bay a region on the east coast of Te- Ika-a Maui, the North Island. We take you into a local institution- Holly Bacon which has been producing delicious bacon since 1914, we eat traditional Maori dishes of boil-up and hangi and chow down on American diner food in the cellar door of Craggy Range winery.

1. Bacon and egg roll at Holly Bacon, 310 Warren Street, North, Hastings 4122. Open Monday to Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm

2. Boil up and hāngi at Handi Hangi, 225 Omahu Road, Frimley, Hastings 4120. Open Wednesday to Sunday 11:30am to 2:30pm.

3. Burgers at Casey's Diner at Craggy Range, 253 Waimarama Road, Havelock North 4230. The diner isn't operating at the moment but stay tuned for updates from Craggy Range and Chef Casey McDonald on their social platforms. #hawkesbay #newzealand #nzfood
