U.S. Representative Trent Franks said on Thursday he will resign after two former staff members complained about discussions he had with them about efforts to find a surrogate mother.
Franks's resignation came just hours after Democratic Senator Al Franken did the same following sexual misconduct allegations and Representative John Conyers stepped down for similar reasons on Tuesday.
