Ok ok ok as if today couldn’t get any cuter with all this engagement news – it just got way freaking cuter.
So in case you’ve been living under a rock for the last 24 hours you might’ve missed the memo that Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber are engaged – like, guys, they’re getting married! It’s so exciting. Hailey and Justin have both referenced the fact that they’ve known each other for a really long time. And now, thanks to the glory of the internet, we’re getting to literally see the very first time this pair met – I mean, watch this and die –

I’m dead – Hailey’s face – when you’re a teenager I swear everything is embarrassing, especially when your dad is trying to introduce you to….oh I don’t know..just the biggest star on the planet. Real talk here – this is so cute. Hailey’s dad is so sweet. Justin even retweeted this link back in 2016 after it resurfaced on Vine. RIP Vine though am I right? As you guys know, JB and HB met when they were literally kids as seen in that video, then they went on to date briefly in 2015. Things didn’t end up working out at the time, BUT at that time, JB told GQ magazine that QUOTE: "I know that in the past I've hurt people and said things that I didn't mean to make them happy in the moment. So now I'm just more so looking at the future, making sure I'm not damaging them. What if Hailey ends up being the girl I'm gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it's always gonna be damaged."
AND NOW THEY’RE GETTING MARRIED. All is good in the world. So let’s just watch that first video of them meeting one more time, shall we?
