Justin Bieber & Shawn Mendes FEUDING Over Hailey Baldwin?

Since the Biebs newest song ‘No Brainer’ came out, people have been pointing at a lyric that fans are convinced was shade at Shawn Mendes.
But according to a source close to Shawn, he’s well equipped to handle any pettiness that comes his way.
The source revealed QUOTE, “Shawn will take any shade Justin wants to send because he can handle it. Shawn feels like he should be above it all because that is the guy he is and if Justin wants to do or say anything, he has other more important things to worry about.”
But then some shade of it’s own came into the mix with the source adding QUOTE, “[Shawn] is friends with Selena [Gomez] and he respects her too much to get into a feud with Justin. He’s heard all the stories from the past with Justin and Selena and he has chosen Selena in the battle for friendship and just doesn’t want to get into petty feuds, it does nothing for him at all.”
To be fair…. the lyric in question just says, “it ain’t that hard to choose, him or me, be for real, baby, it’s a no brainer” but for some that was enough to start a full on feud between Justin and Shawn over Hailey Baldwin.
Shawn and Hailey were, of course rumored to be dating for several months leading into June, but then by mid June she was back dating Justin and by July the pair were engaged. But Shawn has had only positive things to say about the relationship.
You may remember that he opened up in an interview about texting Hailey after the engagement news broke. He said QUOTE, “I texted Hailey the day of, and I said congrats. That’s what it is. I think everybody wants there to be more — there’s not.”
Honestly we highly doubt that the lyric was shady, AND we highly doubt that Shawn would start anything with the Biebs because he’s always spoken highly of him even when Hailey and Justin started back up again.
