That’s right, you guys! After convincing many of us that he and Hailey Baldwin were, like, the real deal, Shawn Mendes is now saying that that’s not the case at all!
If you remember, just last month Shawn and Hailey were said to be cozying up to each other at the Halloween party that Hailey hosted along with her BFFs, Kendall Jenner and Justine Skye. In fact, after the party an eyewitness even told Us Magazine, QUOTE “At the end of the night, Hailey was with Shawn and they were holding hands and cuddling up to each other. They left together at the end of the night.”
And even though that was the first eyewitness account of the two showing off some real PDA, they’ve also gone other places together in the span of a month, further feeding our suspicions that they are dating. For example, they were spotted out to dinner AND they went to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, which, as we all know, is a recipe for romance. So, come on guys… is it really SO crazy for us to think that things have been heating up between the two?!
Well, whether you ship #SHAILEY or not, it appears you have nothing to worry about because according to our beloved Shawn, he’s totally SINGLE! Yupp… Shawn arrived at the AMAs and hit up the red carpet for a little pre-show interview, where he revealed that he actually isn’t seeing anyone! Hmm… How interesting!
But, before you start hitting Shawn up on Twitter with some flirty tweets, Shawn DEFINITELY has a type.
He said, QUOTE, “Humor is the number one thing.” Alright, guys! Start preparing your jokes now!
