Shawn Mendes Responds To Hailey Baldwin & Justin Bieber Dating News!
It looks like Hailey not only has Shawn’s full support, but he loves Justin too!
In a recent interview with Canada’s ETALK, Shawn Mendes reveals how he really feels about his friend Hailey dating Justin Beiber . He said QUOTE, “I think that’s awesome! “I love them both. They’re both really awesome people. When I first started out, everybody was like, ‘Oh, how do you feel about being compared to Justin?’ I was like, ‘What do you mean, how do I feel?’ That’s the best thing anyone could say to me. He’s the man.” Shawn and Hailey were rumored to be dating for months and that rumor escalated after they attended the 2018 Met Gala together in May. Even though Shawn continued to let everyone know that they were just really good friends, it wasn’t until Hailey confirmed it that people let it go. When speaking about Shawn last month, she told The Times UK, “We hang out and he's super-lovely and a very, very nice young gentleman, but I am single.” In that same interview she talked about her previous relationship with Justin saying, "Justin and I were friends for a long time. I met him when I was really young and he was one of my best friends. Everybody knows that at a certain point in time that turned into something else, but that just happens when you're 18, 19. It was what it was." Well a couple of weeks after that interview Justin and Hailey seemed to be rekindling their romance and they were just recently caught making out in New York City and holding hands. So unlike the Shawn and Hailey rumors, Justin and Hailey are letting us know that they are on and going strong.
