Visit The Bentong  Walk  Before It Goes

Sadly, news has it that this food and cultural enclave will be gone or redone  soon as the result of GE 14. The distinctively decorated and renovated colonial shoplots along these few streets here have been  well done from inside out to simulate a cultural enclave unique to the town. Most of these shops are F&B outlets that serve local favourites, fusion food , handicrafts, traditional medicine  and so forth that cater to the young and old.A unique sense of old-style retail shops still exists here and kids can still find those colourful "jackpot" machines all over.  When night come, these streets come alive with glittering lantern  lights and sounds of festivity pasar malam style. These ambience is holding on till its last days in the near future. So, come on over soon and capture this cultural hive while it is still around.
