DAP's candidate for the Sandakan by-election, Vivian Wong Shir Yee, who is the youngest daughter of the late Sandakan MP Stephen Wong said that she had the same vision and goals as her father which is to provide a better living standard for the people of Sandakan.
She said as she was born and bred in Sandakan she understood the problems facing the people as well as the opportunities for the area.
