The Women's Aid Organisation (WAO) called for the enactment of a gender equality law and better constitutional protection for women, citing the recent case involving lawyer, Siti Kasim. The group met with the Council of Eminent Persons at Menara Ilham, Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
