Deputy Defence Minister Liew Chin Tong said that the mistakes in the past cannot be forgotten in formulating policies to move forward.
He said Malaysia needed a vision to bring everyone together and work towards a common purpose but we still have to learn from the mistakes of the past.
He said this in response to a question on Council of Eminent Persons (CEP) chairperson Daim Zainuddin's statement that the Pakatan Harapan government needs to concentrate on delivering its promises to the people who voted them in during the 14th General Election and forget what happened in the past.
