Zac Efron had his ass handed to him while parked in a dangerous part of LA. Welcome back to Clevver news, yall. This sounds like the plot of a movie, but sadly, it isn't. It's the true story about the Neighbors star getting his ass handed to him while in a very questionable scenario. According to Zac, he and his driver ran out of gasoline in none other than one of the shadiest parts of town, downtown LA under the Harbor Freeway. Zac said while waiting for a tow truck they threw a glass bottle out of the car window which smashed into pieces on the pavement, and apparently some transients thought that the bottle was being thrown at them! So they took it as a challenge. The next thing Zac knew, 2 of the guys were attacking his body guard. So Zac got out of the car to try to stop the fight. And that's when one of the guys socked Zac right in the mouth. "It was the hardest I've ever been hit in my life," he said. Cops regularly patrol that area since it's known for its drug deals and gangs. When they saw the fight, both Zac and his body guard were being pummeled. The cops succeeded in breaking up the attack but arrested no one because they deemed it a "mutual combat." What everyone wants to know is what was Zac doing parked under a freeway in a crappy part of downtown LA? Did he really run out of gas and was waiting for a tow truck, or was he involved in one of the many drug deals that occur there? I'm not trying to start a rumor. I'm trying to squash one. I hope the truth is exactly as Zac tells. Either way, that's a LOT of injuries for the actor. A broken jaw, rehab, and an injured hand, and NOW this. Pretty scary.
