Zac Efron is REALLY open to trying new things – so much so that he ate a freaking EARTHWORM OMLETTE. Yes, that happened. But before we tell you how that whole situation came to be, let’s back it up a little bit.
The 26-year-old actor joined adventurer Bear Grylls for an episode of his show ‘Running Wild’ and the duo took on the Appalachian Mountains where they lived off the land for a whole two days. And when you’re living off the land, you gotta take what you can get. In this case, takin’ what you can get, meant some earth worms and bird eggs.
Yeah. Thanks, but no thanks. If we were Zac, our first stop after this whole sitch would have been In N Out.
That wasn’t the only INSANE thing that happened during the show. Zac and Bear jumped out of an airplane; cut open a dead raccoon – where Zac almost puked after doing so – had to scale across two land masses with only a rope guiding him, and repel down a waterfall. He did go shirtless for that part, so of course we gotta thank him for that.
And not only did Zac put himself in physically challenging situations, he also was emotionally vulnerable as he spoke with Bear about his struggle with substance abuse.
Aw, Zac! We’re so glad he can be open and honest about everything.
And PS, on a lighter note, doesn’t this whole thing remind you of the Hunger Games? Even the forest looks like the arena. Just sayin’.
