Ahmad Zahid Hamidi claimed that there was an effort to amend the constitution to re-delineate the constituency which would eventually increase the DAP seat in Parliament.
He said it was made by adding parliamentary seats in urban areas.
"We know there will be suggestions in the House of Representatives session in July to amend the constitution to supplement the state and parliamentary seats.
"There may be proposals for an area with more than 100,000 voters, there will be an increase in seats with the verdict of the parliamentary constituency involving seats in urban areas.
"Who are the members of the constituency of the city, of course DAP, that means DAP will increase its members," he said when opening the Kepong Umno division delegation meeting in Selayang on Saturday.
Apart from the DAP, PKR also played seat plot in the past general election.
