Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamid said the government will further discuss with Thailand over the arrests of Uighur Muslims in Malaysia.
China had requested for Malaysia to extradite 11 ethnic Uighur Muslims who were arrested here after escaping from a Thai jail last year.
Zahid, last week, said that Malaysia was considering the request but said that investigations are being done by the police to see whether the individuals were involved in any terror activities.
