Zayn Announces New Boot Collab & Talks Grungy Style in NEW GQ Mag Spread

Zayn recently talked to GQ about everything from his new Boot collection to how he feels about his own style in a new spread for the mag.
GQ grabbed all the moody, sexy, artsy pictures of Zayn showing off his new boot line we could ever dream of, and despite Zayn’s attractiveness upstaging the shoot, we still got a good look at the boots, which are super sleek, modern, and a little edgy.
The boots are part of a collaboration with designer Giuseppe Zanotti, who Zayn started a partnership at Paris fashion week last year. When it comes to what inspires Zayn’s on style, he told the magazine QUOTE, “It's about being happy to look a bit scruffy...I just got into the whole rock sort of feel to clothes—big boots, skinny jeans, and dark T-shirt, and rings. Just the grungy feel.” Grungy isn’t exactly the first word that comes to mind when we think of Zayn, but I guess it would be kind of weird for him to describe himself as “sexy bad boy chic”. I mean, how are those not the four words that come to mind when you watch his behind the scenes video from the shoot?!
Seriously could he be any hotter, though? Zayn also opened up with how his collab with Giuseppe works, saying QUOTE, “Style is not being afraid to be bold about some things, or to say what it is you have to say. I feel like Giuseppe does that with his collection—and I try to do that with my music. So it kind of works.” We’ll definitely agree with him on that one. Ever since Zayn left 1D it’s worked out great for him to be bold and say what he wants to say through his music, so it’s no surprise that he’s carrying that attitude into the fashion world..
If you like the boots, be prepared for Zayn to get even more involved in the fashion world, because he’s had a lot of offers coming in and he’s ready to take it all on. And we can expect his ever-supportive girlfriend GiGi Hadid to be behind him 100%, especially since she posted a pic from his GQ spread on her own Instagram and captioned the pic “dreamy”.
