Zayn Malik announced his first solo single ‘Befour’ in his big interview with Fader and Directioners are all definitely feeling some type of way.
And just like that, he’s back in the game! Not only did Zayn revealed the name of his first solo track, the former 1D singer even talked about what to expect on his upcoming solo album.
So, we all know Zayn has been working on solo music for a while now, especially when he left the band and Naughty Boy leaked some music tracks, but no one expected the singer to make an announcement about his new music just days after One Direction released their fifth studio album! In a video teaser for his upcoming Fader interview, not only is Zayn opening up about the things in his life that inspired the tracks on his solo album, his new music is used as the background music for the video! Listen closely if you wanna hear it…
I, for one, can’t wait to hear what else Zayn has in store for us. But really quick, can we turn our attention to the way ‘Befour’ is spelled? Instead of it being b-e-f-o-r-e, he spells ‘fore’ like the number four and One Direction’s last album with Zayn on it is titled ‘Four.’ It could be a complete coincidence, but it’s just weird! Makes me wonder if the singer is throwing shade at his former bandmates… or if this is one of the songs on his upcoming album that was inspired by his time in the band? Either way, it’s bound to be a good one.
