Back in March, our hearts were crushed it was announced that Zayn was leaving One Direction. At the time, Zayn said that he wanted to be a QUOTE normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. END QUOTE
But, now it seems like Zayn’s ready to get back in the spotlight because he just told everyone on Twitter that he’s signed a solo record deal with RCA.
Zayn tweeted QUOTE I guess I never explained why I left , it was for this moment to be given the opportunity to show you who i really am! #realmusic #RCA !! END QUOTE
Hmm so does this mean that Zayn left One Direction so he could record “real music?” Is he saying One Direction doesn’t record “real music?” It seems like Zayn’s throwing some serious shade at 1D with this tweet.
Zayn followed up that tweet with a photo of himself signing his record deal and then he tweeted #REALME.
In addition to his new record label, it’s being reported that Zayn has signed with a new management company called Turn First Artists. New management and a new record deal? It’s a huge week for Zayn and he seems extremely happy right now. So, we’re sending some huge congrats to him!
