It’s been a week full of One Direction rumors. First, reports of One Direction splitting up for good surfaced on Monday. Then the band shut down the rumors, saying that they were simply going to take some time off next year.
But then on Tuesday, rumors of Sony wanting to sign Harry Styles to a solo deal made their way around the internet, causing all Directioners to panic.
Now today, rumors of Niall Horan going solo have surfaced, and our emotions are at an all-time high.
A source told the Sunday World QUOTE He's one of the most popular members in the US and could land the second biggest solo deal. He could get £4m. END QUOTE
Does this mean that the band is actually breaking up for good?!
To add fuel to the rumors, Niall’s been spotted hanging out with Scooter Braun, who manages artists like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande. So, there’s talk that Scooter may be working on a solo deal with Niall.
If Niall and Harry both go solo, it would mean that three of the five original 1D members would be competing against each other. Zayn Malik left the band in March and he’s since been signed to a solo record deal with RCA.
While there’s so much speculation going around, nothing has been confirmed. So, we’re just going to sit back, relax and watch the “Drag Me Down” video on repeat for the next couple of hours.
