Don’t worry Directioners, Niall isn’t leaving 1D behind for James Corden. Just think of their little boy band as a side gig until One Direction’s future reunion.
Before we dive into all of the shenanigans that went on during Thursday night’s episode of ‘A League of Their Own,’ Niall also appeared on ‘The Graham Norton Show,’ and revealed that Directioners just need to sit tight because a 1D reunion is definitely coming in the future.
Niall said QUOTE, “We can’t put a date on it but it won’t be in 50 years’ time. It’s in the foreseeable future. We’ve talked about it but for now we’ll just play it by ear and see what happens.” As long as the boys eventually come back together, that’s all that matters.
Now going back to last night’s episode of ‘A League of Their Own,’ Niall made his return to the show without the rest of his band members and needless to say, things kinda-sorta got out of hand. In the middle of the show, the singer basically renounced his 1D ways and joined what James called a ‘real boy band’ with the host of the show along with 90s boy band member Lee Brennan of 911.
Maybe Niall can take those moves back to his old band members when they reunite. Anyway, aside from learning a new dance, Niall was asked by James if he would trust any of his old band mates with his naked girlfriend and this was Niall’s response.
But, just because Niall lowkey has trust issues with his bandmates and isn’t currently touring the world with Liam, Louis, and Harry, doesn’t necessarily mean he loves being on his own. In fact, while he was talking to The Mirror, Niall revealed that singing a song solo without his boys is super weird.
He said QUOTE, “It’s obviously going to be a bit weird, I spent a long time in a band with other people. The weirdest thing I found was singing the whole song.” It takes some time to get used to having a solo spotlight, but I’m sure Niall will find his groove in no time.
