Who in their right mind would turn down Queen B? Adele sets the record straight.
The “Hello” singer stopped by the Beats 1 Radio Show to dish on her new album ’25.’ She also addressed the rumor that she turned down a collaboration with fellow power house singer, Beyonce.
Adele said, QUOTE, "There's a rumor going round that I turned Beyoncé down. Which I would never be so disrespectful as to do. I'd never disrespect her like that. Queen B 'til the day I die.”
Adele’s love for Beyonce goes way back. She told Rolling Stone magazine in 2011, QUOTE, “I was about to meet Beyonce and I had a full-blown anxiety attack.”
When she did meet her fellow music icon, Adele says she told Beyonce, QUOTE, “You’re amazing. When I listen to you I feel like I’m listening to God.”
