Niall Horan serenades us performing “This Town” for the first time on the Graham Norton Show!
And there’s more where that came from... Niall also confirmed a One Direction reunion is in our future!
1D’s Niall Horan did his first solo TV appearance EVER on The Graham Norton Show Friday. That included Niall’s first swoon-worthy performance of his debut single “This Town”- take a look!
Before the performance, Niall sat down with the host, along with Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Chris O’Dowd and dished on the meaning of “This Town”. Niall admitted people think the song is about a girl from his hometown but unfortunately he said QUOTE, “It’s not about anyone.” Niall also got candid about his time since One Direction’s hiatus and revealed the first thing he did in his free time was go on an epic backpacking trip with his cousins.
Niall also confessed the guys traveled in true backpacker style, even staying in hotels, and the trip helped inspire his new solo music. Speaking of Niall’s music- he confirmed he WILL be going on a solo tour in the future. As for a One Direction reunion? Niall unveiled QUOTE, “For now we are doing our own thing. We can’t put a date on it yet but it won’t be in fifty years time. It’s in the foreseeable future. We’ve talked about it but for now we’ll just play by ear and see what happens.” And that’s music to our ears! Now it’s your turn: tell us down below in the comments if you’re gonna hit up Niall’s solo tour and what you think “the foreseeable future” means for a 1D reunion?
