Zayn Malik Responds to One Direction's New Single 'Drag Me Down'

Assuring fans that he has nothing but love for his former band mates, Zayn gives the boys of 1D some love on their new single “Drag Me Down.”
One Direction released their new single on Thursday night shortly after Zayn signed his solo recording contract with RCA records. But being distanced from the group contractually didn’t stop Zayn from showing his solidarity on the friend side. On Saturday afternoon he tweeted - "Proud of my boys the new single is sick. Big love. :) x"
Some people had a little side eye ready for Zayn for commenting, considering last week he tweeted out that the reason he went solo was so he can finally make QUOTE – “real music” but his support tweet for “Drag Me Down” proved that there was no shade intended behind that real music comment and the boys are still pals.
