Zayn vs Harry ►►

Zayn Malik’s first on-camera interview with Beats 1 Radio proves that the singer stayed with One Direction all those years just for his faithful fans.
Zayn didn’t hold anything back for his first solo on-camera interview. The former One Direction member openly talked about his time in the band and admitted that he never really wanted to be a part of it.
Don’t be too surprised by that comment. Zayn has said in past interviews that he wanted to “go home” from the very beginning, but it’s still a little shocking to hear it straight from him. In his first on camera interview, the singer opened up to Beats 1 Radio’s Zane Lowe about the moment he started thinking about quitting the band.
Wow. Well, I can’t really imagine One Direction without Zayn at all, so we’re really lucky to have him for as long as we did. The singer continued to talk about being unhappy during his time in the band and that he was pretty sure his bandmates knew about his feelings on the music they were making. Zayn revealed that Harry, Niall, Louis, and Liam tried their best to help him feel better during the creative process, but it just didn’t work.
In the end, Zayn decided to quit the band in the middle of their world tour and he revealed that none of the boys tried to stop him from leaving. He told Zane QUOTE, “They obviously didn’t want me to leave, but they couldn’t talk me out of it at that point. I’d already made my mind up.”
