Did anyone see this coming? At the very last minute, Zayn cancelled his first solo TV appearance, but hey! At least fans have Zayn’s first song post-One Direction to look forward to, right?
January 29th was supposed to be a day of firsts for Zayn! Not only is the singer releasing his first solo track ‘Pillowtalk,’ he was also supposed to make his first TV appearance WITHOUT One Direction! Unfortunately for all of us who were looking forward to Zayn appearing on the Graham Norton show without his four boys beside him, the singer and his team cancelled it due to “scheduling issues.”
An insider revealed to The Sun that QUOTE, “This is a very last-minute decision from Zayn and his team. They have put it down to scheduling issues but this is an appearance that has been in the diary for a while now… It will spark talk of something being wrong behind the scenes. This appearance is a big deal to both Zayn and his fans.” Um, yeah it’s a big deal!
Can we take out this part But, I guess we shouldn’t all lose hope just yet because the insider continued to say QUOTE, “There’s still a chance he [Zayn] could make it happen – but the show is now making alternative plans.” SIGH, that’s enough bad news for today.
And replace with this But, don’t worry you guys, you’ll still be able to see Zayn’s beautiful face on camera because instead of going on TV, the singer will be doing his first on camera interview with Zane Lowe on Beats1. It’s better than nothing!
In other news, Directioners can probably expect to hear new stuff from Harry Styles very soon. Not only did the singer register a new song called ‘Easy’ with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, he apparently also got his very own publicist!
According to Sugarscape, Hare Bear is now working with a new firm called Dawbell PR and they’ll be the ones in charge of Harry’s press-related items during 1D’s hiatus. Our boys are growing up so fast!
