After sources claimed Tom and Zendaya had been seeing each other, Zendaya is finally giving us answers.
Vogue’s Power of Young Hollywood issue features 5 young celebs, one of them being Zendaya looking gorgeous as ever.
She talked about how she picks her roles in Hollywood saying QUOTE, “I would much rather have one line in a great movie than be the lead of a shitty one.”
Which is exactly what happened with Spider-man: Homecoming. After sending in an audition tape, she had to do a chemistry test with Tom Holland, but things got awkward when she noticed their height difference.
She said QUOTE, “I was like, ‘Damn it! It’s going to be weird because I’m super tall.’ But then we ended up doing the audition sitting. So that was good.”
Zendaya also chatted about an incident with an aggressive paparazzo after her and her co-star Tom Holland were spotted in a car together and she snapchatted the whole thing.
She talked about the experience saying QUOTE, “This guy was being super dangerous, driving through a busy intersection, doing a U-turn, driving on the side of the freeway to catch up to us — the side where you’re not supposed to drive because there’s no lane. I was like, ‘This is nuts.’”
And finally what you’ve all been waiting for-- are Z and Tom official or nah?
While it would be an adorable pairing, Zendaya denied it flatly saying, “No. He’s a great dude. He’s literally one of my best friends. This past how many months we’ve had to do press tours together. There’s very few people that will understand what that’s like at 20 years old.”
