The prosecution has filed an appeal against Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's acquittal in the foreign visa system (VLN) corruption case.
The notice to bring the case before the Court of Appeal was filed today.

On Friday, the Shah Alam High Court judge Mohd Yazid Mustafa ruled that the prosecution had failed to prove a prima facie case and that its three key witnesses were unreliable.
