The prosecution has withdrawn its appeal against the acquittal of activist Adam Adli Abd Halim over a charge of taking part in #KitaLawan rally three years ago. Adam's counsel Eric Paulsen raised no objection and Justice Mohd Nazlan then struck out the appeal.
On Nov 28 last year, magistrate Ahmad Solihin Abd Wahid freed Adam Adli after the prosecution failed to prove a prima facie case against him without requiring him to enter his defence.
