The appeals court will hear a case filed by prosecutors against an Australian woman who escaped the death penalty after being acquitted of drug trafficking charges. Maria Elvira Pinto Exposto, 54, was arrested after being found with more than a kilogram of methamphetamine in her backpack at KLIA in December 2014.
