Alessia Cara KILLS Cover of “Levels” & Gets Nick Jonas’ Approval

Alessia Cara has just managed to take a Nick Jonas cover to the next level, and we’re talkin’ literally, figuratively and everything in between.
Yo Nick, we’re totally gonna let you finish, but just FYI, Alessia had one of the best covers of “Levels” of all time.
Newcomer Alessia Cara may only be 17 years old, but her recent cross-genre covers of chart-topping hits have not gone unnoticed, earning the seal of approval from said world-famous musicians.
Back in July, she performed a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood”, when Taylor pronounced her love for Alessia and the cover all over social media, and now Alessia has once again worked her magic and added her own soulful indie-pop twist on Nick Jonas’ most recent single “Levels”. Take a look:
With only an acoustic guitar, a set of drums and some killer vocals, Alessia’s soothing spin on the upbeat dance track has now earned the seal of approval from Nick himself, after she tweeted out the link to her cover, to which he responded, “.@alessiacara this cover of LEVELS is awesome.. I love “Here” keep doing your thing.”
And of course, Alessia tweeted back thanking Nick and expressing her love for the track.
