We’re a week away from the premiere of American Horror Story: Freak Show, but the sneak peeks just keep on coming!
Not only has Ryan Murphy released the ENTIRE opening credits for the fourth season of the hit FX show, but we’re also getting to see the first footage of the characters in action. AND he revealed that Jessica Lange will be singing a Lana Del Rey song this season. For a mysterious show, we sure are getting all KINDS of awesome details.
So first, let’s talk about the new trailer that’s giving us a glimpse into the freak show world. We’re getting a deeper look into the season, and we might be wrong here, but it looks like Sarah Paulson’s Bette and Dott will be the narrators, since the dual characters are responsible for the voiceover. It looks like Jessica Lange’s character – Elsa Mars – picks up the conjoined twins and is taking them under her wing at the freak show.
After that we see the bearded lady and her son Jimmy, who has lobster hands. Talk about freaky! There’s also the world’s smallest woman, a tattooed guy with no arms, people with no legs, and SO much more. Let’s take a peek, shall we?
And can we please talk about how STUNNING everything looks?! That cinematography is UNREAL! This is definitely going to be the best season yet, we can already tell. And yes, that sneak peek at killer Twisty the clown is ALREADY giving us nightmares.
And speaking of nightmares, the opening credits are guaranteed to do the same. We honestly don’t even know how to put into words how creepy they are, so we’ll let the footage do the talking.

Oh, and Ryan Murphy also revealed on Twitter that the season premiere will be 90 minutes long. Yay, an extra 30 minutes where we’ll be scared for our lives!
