Freak show, freak show -- yes those are lyrics to a Britney Spears song...but more appropriately, freak show is also the focus of next season's hit show on FX American Horror Story. Entertainment Weekly exclusively broke word on what sort of freaky people we're going to be seeing this season all thanks to a chat with the show's co-creator Ryan Murphy, who actually revealed that Jessica Lange and he have been talking about the whole freak show theme for a while now, and he even said that it was "always her favorite one." Initially, he said that the fourth season would be light, but guess what AHS fans??? Not too shockingly, he says things are going to get QUOTE "terrifyingly dark," which coming from him, and based on what we've seen on the show already, is saying a lot. Murphy said freak show feels much more like the Asylum season, which makes us wonder if Pepper is going to be coming back -- how awesome would that be? And here's the juicy tidbit I know you've been waiting for -- the show is going to have a character named the Clown Killer. I honestly have goosebumps all over. I cannot stop thinking about the movie IT and how it scarred me and legions of other children for life...Murphy adds that this Clown killer will be the most terrifying clown ever. And also, just to sweeten this scary deal, there's also going to be a bearded lady, and we're guessing this character is probably going to be totally twisted. So will next season be the most horrifying yet?
