Divergent Cast Plays Wed/Bed/Dead ►►
It'll be a while before we see the fourth season of FX's hit show American Horror Story, but it looks like we're one step closer to actually knowing what the upcoming season will be about. According to TVLine, AHS writer Douglas Petrie revealed that season four would have a carnival-esque theme during a Nerdist Writers Panel podcast. Apparently, one of the co-panelists brought up some creepy "circus" themed fan art that made its way to the Internet last year, and asked the AHS writer if that was the theme for season four. His response: "It doesn't have a title, but that's the idea," following it up with "Very roughly, that's the idea." Oooh that' sounds AMAZING. It's also been confirmed by Ryan Murphy that the upcoming season will take place in the 1950s -- but that's about all we know, other than Jessica Lange is DEFINITELY coming back. As far as the rest of the cast? It looks like most of them will be back -- sort of. During a TCA panel in January, FX CEO John Landgraf said: "I know that most of the current cast will be returning in some form, though I don't know what characters they'll be playing. I'm waiting for [Murphy] to tell me. ... Every season has an opportunity to sell a new setting and new characters and a new tone to the audience." Even Lea Michele has wanted to get in on the AHS action, as she said in a recent interview: "I've basically talked to [Ryan Murphy] about it every day. If I could get my fans to start working on that for me, that would be great. I've been literally begging him. But it would probably have to be for their season five or something like that. I think it would be a great opportunity for people in the acting world to see." Interesting... What are your thoughts on the potential season four theme? Are you digging it?
