American Horror Story Season 6 Releases Disturbing New Promos

The clock is ticking toward the season premiere of American Horror Story season 6 and with less than a month away, we are all still extremely confused as to what the heck it’s going to be about. The new batch of promos involve a creepy af wind chime, some bone crushing back bends, and a creature straight out of Stranger Things. In other words, if you get freaked out easily, watch these clips with caution.
These promos are the latest teasers released to the public but if you’ve been keeping up with the promos released previously, you’re probably a little confused as to what it all means for the theme. In the recent trailers we see a wind chime made of teeth cut by a nurse or tooth fairy, then a person at a campsite getting brutally abducted, then a monster / alien crawling creepily on train tracks. So the abduction and the alien monster make sense together, but what the heck does the teeth wind chime have to do with anything? Then we have to factor in the other promos that were previously released that showed a barn, then a creepy hand reaching up at a baby twisted baby mobile, and then there was the one with someone running down stairs with hands grabbing at the ankles and a lady walking up stairs with a shadow pulling at her hair. It’s not adding up. So naturally AHS fans have been throwing out theory after theory as to what the theme could be, some are saying it’s an orphanage, others have speculated that it’s something to do with aliens but the mystery is real. Which makes since when you factor in the fact that each promo ends with a 6 and a question mark. And it turns out that mystery is exactly what the masterminds behind the madness are going for. FX boss, John Landgraf revealed that all of the promos are part of a plot to trick viewea. He came clean at the Television Critics Association summer press tour saying QUOTE – “We decided that it would just be really fun to keep it a mystery this year. And we are. They went out and made many more trailers than you’ve actually seen for hypothetical seasons of ‘American Horror Story.’ One of them is accurate.” In other words, they’re feeding us false information to keep us guessing.
