Ryan Murphy teases Billie Lourd’s American Horror Story Role, plus 2 more hints about season 7.
Ryan Murphy is clearly more than impressed by Billie’s work in season 7 of AHS, as evidenced by his recent Instagram share.
Ryan took to Instagram to share an uber cool snap of Billie sporting windswept light gray hair, a cute floral dress, and some chic sunglasses, along with the caption QUOTE, “Winter is coming. Can't wait for everybody to see what the incredible Billie Lourd does this season on AHS.” Hmm does that “Winter is coming” reference mean Billie’s going to be some kind of real or metaphorical ice queen? The entire post is definitely a hint we could speculate about all day.
And speaking of hints about the upcoming 7th season, we’ve got the dish on a few more thanks to some cryptic clues dropped by Ryan recently. In addition to Billie’s Insta pic, the another clue came in the form of a sketched image captioned “American Horror Story Season 7” tease, with what looks like a cross between a demonic-looking clown and a creepy elephant. It was previously reported that the season will be themed after the 2016 election, but we don’t recall any demonic clown elephants from last November. Of course, the elephant is the symbol of the Republican party, so it might be a clue as to a demonic clown running the party? Who knows.
Another clue came in the form of a photo captioned “AHS Season 7: Red, white and blue clue,” which simply shows the back of an someone’s head with the hair dyed blue. Fans have speculated that the shot is of cast member Evan Peters, but that has not been directly confirmed by Ryan, Evan, or any other cast member, so we’ll just have to wait and see what this 2016 Election-inspired season is gonna be all about.
