First Look: Neil Patrick Harris Guest Stars on American Horror Story: Freak Show

Neil Patrick Harris is about to invade American Horror Story: Freak Show in a creepy way and Clevver has your first look.

As you might recall, a couple months ago NPH tweeted about wanting to be on AHS, and of course Ryan Murphy was more than happy to oblige. Though we didn’t know too much about the role, this new preview is giving us all kinds of details. Check out this snippet for yourself.
So from what this teaser shows, it looks like NPH is playing a magician named Chester who is taking over the Freak Show for Elsa as her plan is still to wander off to become a TV star. He seems “normal” enough at first – we’re using that term VERY loosely here – however it looks like he gets involved with Bette and Dot, and well, that’s when things get freaky.
And if you watch the show, you know that when that dude DANDY calls you a sicko, it’s pretty meaningful. PS: doesn’t it seem like Chester might also be in love with cougar ventriloquist dummy, too. Well, we guess it’s called Freak Show for a reason.

NPH will kick off his 2-episode story arc when AHS comes back on Wednesday January 7 on FX at 10 PM. In addition to that, NPH’s hubby David Burtka will also appear on AHS in a guest-starring role during the show’s season finale.
