People want to know if the sex video implicating Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali is authentic and who was responsible for leaking it, said PKR president Anwar Ibrahim.
“There are two phases - one is whether the video is authentic and secondly, who circulated it. The people want to know both of these," he told journalists at the Parliament lobby today.
Anwar said this when commenting on the police remanding former Santubong PKR Youth chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz and five others for six days in connection with the case.
They are being investigated under Section 292A of the Penal Code which concerns the distribution of obscene material, which is punishable with up to three years imprisonment or a fine or both.
