Ariana Grande never goes anywhere without her dog Toulouse or her high ponytail, but it looks like one of her celebrity besties convinced her to ditch the pony for a bit.

What’s up guys? It’s Drew Dorsey here with Clevver News and in case you missed it Ariana has showed up to multiple of her Sweetener tour shows without her signature ponytail.

You know the ponytail that’s so famous that Tyra Banks teaches her class about it at Stanford University.
Yeah that one.

Ariana first said thank u next to her pony at her Chicago show and now she’s been seen rocking her new look on Instagram too.

Could this be a new era of Ari? A ponytail-less Ariana Grande?

I personally love this look on her. It’s so mature and different. I almost didn’t recognize her at first!

And while fans are loving the look on Ari, it turns out, it wasn’t her idea to let her hair hang loose. It was a recommendation from her friend, Fifth Harmony alum, and opener on the Sweetener tour, Normani Kordei.

In an interview with Vogue Normani revealed that her No. 1 beauty advice for Ari while on tour together was to let her hair down every once in a while.

And thank goodness Ariana did just that.
