Ariana Grande fires back at the fan that thought calling her a whore on her own Facebook page would turn out well.
Whoever thought it’s cool to talk crap about famous people because they’re famous and could take it probably should have wondered if they could take a celeb clap back…
Ari put a certain fan in his place this week. And made the rest of us think twice about ever judging another woman for showing too much skin all with one carefully worded response on Facebook. Earlier this week Ariana uploaded a sexy image from her Dangerous Woman video to her Facebook. Yes, she was scantily clad. That is a fact. But does that make her a whore? Don’t even get me started on that sh*t. And don’t get her started. The fan who shall remain nameless wrote her this inarticulate comment below the pic and in it he said Ari looked like a whore. Words are things people. Use them carefully. Ari clapped back like only Ari could. Well, and maybe Jlaw. She wrote beneath HIS comment: “When will people stop being offended by women showing skin/ expressing sexuality? Men take their shirts off/express their sexuality on stage, in videos, on Instagram, anywhere they want to… all. the. time. The double standard is so boring and exhausting. With all due respect, I think it’s time you get your head out of your ass. Women can love their bodies too.” Bravo! Classy, to the point, well done, Ms. Grande. Now, I think her response was perfect but what do you guys think? Are you sick of all those double standards where men can express their sexuality, sleep around, and no one thinks twice about it but a woman does it and you are forever shamed with a scarlett letter? Let me know your thoughts below or tweet me @Miriamisa, follow me on Instagram @Miriam_isa then click here for Ariana’s killer performance this weekend at the MTV Movie Awards where she nailed her Dangerous Woman piece. I’m Miriam Isa, thanks so much for hanging out with me here and see you soon with more news on Clevver!
