Ariana Grande is on a tight schedule and she ain’t got time for sexist questions she was asked during an interview, but naturally, she handled them like a BOSS.
So if anyone needs to do a little brushing up on equality, take it up with ya girl Ariana because she might just teach you a little thing or two about treating all genders with respect.
Ariana was busy making her promo rounds last week when she appeared on DJs Justin Credible and Eric D-Lux's Power 106 radio show before her new song "Focus" dropped, when the vibe took a 180 turn for the worst after one host asked Ari, QUOTE, "If you could use makeup or your phone one last time, which one would you pick?" And things got real interesting…
But the misogynistic remarks didn’t quite stop there. After Ariana replied that she could go hours without her phone, the host attempted to jokingly yell out, “LADIES, LEARN!” to which Ari backfired with, “BOYS, LEARN. Boys AND girls, we can all learn.”
Shortly after what we thought was the end of all the awkwardness, Ari was then asked which new emojis were her favorite, and get the aloe ready, because you’re about to witness yet another painful burn…

Shortly after what we thought was the end of all the awkwardness, Ari was then asked which new emojis were her favorite, and get the aloe ready, because you’re about to witness yet another painful burn…
After a few more cringe-worthy remarks were exchanged, Ariana replied, “Who says the unicorn emoji isn’t for men?!” And after the hosts said that they’ve never used the unicorn, she replied, “Alright, I change my mind, I don’t want to hang out at Power 106 anymore.” UM, OUCH.
But the icing on top of the cake came at the end of the interview when the hosts asked Ariana if she could fix one problem in the world what it would be, and it seemed as though she had quite the list on her mind, saying, QUOTE, "I have a long list of things I'd like to change, I think judgement in general. Intolerance, meanness, double standards, misogyny, racism, sexism. All that sh*t. That’s what we need to focus on. We’ve got work to do. We'll start with you, though."
And I’m thinkin’ this would be the perfect time for an epic MIC DROP because Ari just proved that she’s fully equipped to handle any curveball thrown her way. But now I’m curious to hear all your thoughts on the interview and the way she handled the questions so get the conversation going right down here in the comments section below and after that don’t forget to subscribe to Clevver News to stay up-to-date on all things Ariana Grande.
