Ariana Grande Gets Honored By Charity & Piers Morgan Says He "Doesn't Regret" Criticism Of Her

It’s a busy time in Ariana’s life and it’s only Wednesday! First things first, you all know she’s the realest because the singer is auctioning off a piece of herself to the biggest Arianator out there. Ari’s special, one of a kind tiara that was used in the promotion of her ‘Dangerous Woman’ album. Bidding for the crown is starting off at $5,000 according to a report from Billboard.
The piece is being auctioned off by Nate D. Sanders Auction and according to a spokesperson for the company, the proceeds from the glitzy tiara will unfortunately not be donated to charity since it was given to the auction company prior to the Manchester attack.
But let’s be real here, Ariana has raised a LOT of money for Manchester and if an extra 5k isn’t making it into the fund, it’s not really a big deal. After putting on a fundraising concert and visiting the victims of the Manchester Arena attack just weeks after the tragedy, the city revealed that Ariana has agreed to be the patron for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund charity.
Councilor Sue Murphy said QUOTE, “Her fundraising concert raised millions for the appeal and buoyed all our spirits. We are grateful to her for agreeing to be patron of this charity, which seeks to help everyone who was affected by the tragedy.”
Not only is Ari now the patron for the We Love Manchester charity, the city council is also planning on giving the ‘Dangerous Woman’ singer an honorary citizenship to Manchester!
Many have praised Ariana for helping the city and to everyone’s surprise, even Piers Morgan – who previously criticized the singer for leaving the country after the attack – is commending her for her charitable work. HOWEVER, the controversial on-air personality is still standing by what he said about the singer.
You would think he’d regret his words after seeing that Ariana flew back to the city to visit the victims and put on an incredible concert, but I guess you can’t make a zebra change its stripes. Or however that saying goes.
