Ariana Grande Spills Story Of Near-Death Experience on Alan Carr Chatty Man

Alan Carr pretty much lived out every Arianator’s sleepover fantasy when he and Ariana Grande painted each other’s nails and exchanged the craziest stories with each other, all while wearing their best PJ’s.
From near death experiences to being noticed by Gloria Estefan at a young age, no topic was left untouched at Ari and Alan’s amazing sleepover!
After sharing such a risqué visual for ‘Dangerous Woman,’ Ariana was back to her usual adorable self on Chatty Man. Instead of showing up in, you know, a normal outside of the house attire, the singer entered the stage in a comfy heart patterned onesie and basically spent the entire show lounging on the couch with Alan while talking about anything and everything.
Ariana even relived that time she almost died on tour when Alan asked her what happened. She explained the scary situation to the audience and show host by saying QUOTE, “You know how they have those toaster things where people come up from the stage and you pop up? Something happened with mine and I was singing the beginning of ‘Love Me Harder’ and I was going up on the thing, and long story short, the thing I was standing on had this wooden plank and it snapped! The thing was still going up so I was being pushed against the stage, and it was some Indiana Jones shit, and it was really scary. I had to superman myself out of the thing, and my guitar guy helped me get out, and then I went on stage a different way. It was really scary.”
I have a feeling Ari is going to come up with a different way to make her entrance when she plans her next tour. And since we’re on the topic of reminiscing about the good and bad old days, the singer also shared the moment she was somewhat discovered by none other than Gloria Estefan. As Lizzie McGuire would put it, this is what dreams are made up.
The singer recalled the crazy moment and said, “I was on vacation with my family and I was doing karaoke and it was a terrible song choice – we were on a cruise and I decided to sing 'My Heart Will Go On' from Titanic. Really dark choice, but I was only 6 or 7 so I didn't know what I was doing. After I was done somebody came up to me and was like, 'Gloria Estefan would like to speak to you.' "I was like, 'are you serious?' and my brother was like, 'Are you fucking serious?' and we went together to go say hi to her. She was like, 'I just want to let you know that you are so talented and do not ever give up.' It was crazy."
But aside from all the nostalgic memories of Ari’s past, the ‘Be Alright’ singer also shared some deets about her upcoming album and revealed what fans can expect to hear on ‘Dangerous Woman.’
