Auckland's BOAT FOOD TRUCK - the South's best seafood | Cream Pāua, FRY BREAD, Crayfish + Mussels

Captain Kai Moana out in South Auckland deserves its reputation for great kai moana seafood! It's seafood cooked simply and allowed to shine as it's so fresh. Māori classics like frybread and creamed pāua are not to be missed along with super charged Captain Kai Moana creations like the pāua smash double cheeseburger. For us, the mussels and the flounder (if they have it that day) are must orders. And the frybread was the best we've ever eaten.

Captain Kai Moana, 530 Great South Road, Rosehill, Auckland. Open Thursday to Saturday 10am-2pm and Sunday 12pm-4pm.
